Nan
Sugg is the author of numerous articles on cross cultural
issues, Asian religions and culture, missionaries, and
missionary concerns. Many of these were published in Taiwan
Mission Quarterly. She has written teaching material for Hokkien language speakers to learn to read their Chinese
dialect in Romanization.
She and her husband, Rob, have produced training workbooks and
a video tape series for short-term mission volunteers.
In addition, Parents and Kids magazine has published several of her articles
on child rearing and successful parenting skills.
Erin and Katrina is one of eight children's stories she has
written and is the first to be published. Nan became well
acquainted with the fury of typhoons while living on the west
coast of Taiwan. She never expected to find typhoon/hurricane
force winds striking her hometown in central Mississippi.
Then came Katrina! And this story.
